Dakota Mortensen and Taylor Frankie Paul's toxic relationship was one of the main storylines on The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ fourth season, and it was an absolute roller-coaster. The exes went from friends to enemies to frenemies-with-benefits in the span of ten episodes, but things took a turn for the truly chaotic when Dakota started hooking up with someone in the Mormon Wives' extended friend group.
The person in question? Shinia, who's appeared on the show before and is close friends with Miranda. And while TSLOMW captured some of what went on with this drama, there was a lot going on BTS on social media. Like when Tay posted (and then deleted) a TikTok captioned “Just found out the snake in the middle is sleeping with my baby daddy, meanwhile crying to me because she just got dumped by a married man.”
She also posted on Instagram Stories, “Anyone praying for my downfall please just stay the fuck away from me AND anyone associated with these people moving forward also stay tf away from me. Want to be friends with desperate snakes, you’ll be no friend of mine.”
AND she posted “I’m not type of person to let things bypass, I’ll rise above and move on after I call them out. It’s the principle of HOW it was done not WHAT was done. So let’s show how she ‘wasn’t my friend.’”
At the time, Shinia shared a seemingly pointed story of her own, a repost that read “If you have a problem with me, call me. If you don’t have my number, then that means you don’t know me well enough to have a problem.”
Meanwhile, here's how Miranda responded on a fan account’s comments (via Reddit).
TBD on where everyone stands now, but that’s what the reunion is for!
